Bookmaker payment methods 2026: deposits and withdrawals

Stone, wooden, steel and glass bridges over a river lead to one stadium gate

When choosing a legal bookmaker, it is worth knowing the available payment methods: both for depositing and for withdrawing winnings. Among the 17 operators in our ranking that hold a permit from the Minister of Finance, several popular solutions are available: BLIK, fast transfers (pay-by-link), payment cards, paysafecard and selected e-wallets. This overview helps you choose a method that suits your needs, with separate sections on limits, fees, verification, why a withdrawal is sometimes delayed, and a summary of which methods work at which licensed operators.

Deposit or withdrawal: the basic difference

Depositing and withdrawing at a legal bookmaker follow different rules. A deposit has a crediting time that depends on the operator and the method (check it in the cashier) and requires an active account; the funds must be visible in the player’s account before a bet can be placed. A withdrawal of winnings is a different story: the operator must verify your identity (KYC; Art. 34 sec. 1 pt 1 and Art. 39 sec. 1 of the Anti-Money Laundering Act, Journal of Laws 2025, item 644), although the moment at which it asks for documents is set out in its terms, and some deposit methods (for example paysafecard) may not be available for withdrawals at a given operator: check its terms. That is why it is worth thinking about the payment method at the account-opening stage, not only at the first win.

A practical tip: if a quick withdrawal of any winnings matters to you, choose from the start a method that works in both directions at your chosen operator, for example a bank transfer. Methods used mainly for deposits, such as paysafecard, are convenient for depositing, but if your operator does not pay out by that method you will have to give a bank account number at withdrawal, so it is better to have it ready beforehand.

Why the payment method matters

Processing time, the minimum deposit and the availability of a given method differ between operators. Before you deposit, check the “Cashier” or “Payments” section on the particular bookmaker’s site: it is the only reliable source of current information. We describe the methods in general, educational terms and do not guarantee that a given operator currently supports a method in unchanged form. Treat this page as a map of the available options, and always finalise the details directly in the cashier of your chosen operator.

BLIK: payment with a code from the banking app

BLIK is a payment with a one-time 6-digit code: you generate the code in the banking app and confirm the transaction in the bank’s app; the crediting time and the option to withdraw by this method depend on the operator. It does not require card details or wallet setup, and it also works conveniently in the bookmaker’s mobile app. BLIK deposits are listed in their help centres by Superbet, LV BET and Fuksiarz (read on 31.10.2026). The option to withdraw by this method depends on the operator: STS mentions in its help centre withdrawals to accounts at 16 banks, Revolut and PayPal, and Fuksiarz states that it pays out only to the player’s own bank account (help-centre article dated 14.05.2021, read on 31.10.2026). A detailed guide to BLIK at bookmakers is on our page bookmaker with BLIK (in Polish).

Fast transfers (pay-by-link): Przelewy24 and express transfer

Pay-by-link is a form of fast transfer through services such as Przelewy24. Two variants need to be told apart: an express transfer (Express Elixir) reaches the recipient, according to KIR, the operator of the system, within a few seconds, around the clock, depending on the bank. Standard Elixir is settled on business days, in three sessions a day (KIR, read on 31.10.2026). The time of a deposit or withdrawal at a bookmaker additionally depends on the operator and the payment gateway. If your bank does not support BLIK or you prefer a traditional transfer with an account number, pay-by-link is one of the available alternatives. More about fast payments: fast withdrawals at bookmakers (in Polish).

Payment cards (Visa / Mastercard)

Visa and Mastercard are listed, among others, by Fuksiarz (help-centre article dated 14.05.2021, read on 31.10.2026); with the other operators, check the cashier. When depositing by debit or credit card you give the card number, expiry date and CVV code. Whether a withdrawal to a card is available and how long it takes depends on the operator; check it in the cashier of your chosen bookmaker. It is also worth knowing that some banks may block gambling transactions on their side: if a card payment is rejected, it is the bank’s decision, not the bookmaker’s. Check the limit and transaction-category settings in your banking app before you assume the problem lies with the operator.

Paysafecard: anonymous prepaid codes

Paysafecard vouchers are prepaid codes available at authorised points of sale (finder: paysafecard.com, read on 31.10.2026). They require neither a bank account nor a card: you deposit with a code, without giving financial data online, which makes the method valued for the privacy of the deposit. There is one limitation, but an important one: paysafecard is above all a deposit method, so check in the operator’s terms whether it also supports withdrawals; you can collect your winnings by another method (for example a transfer to a bank account). Details: bookmaker with paysafecard.

E-wallets and prepaid cards

Some operators also support modern methods such as Apple Pay or Revolut. Superbet and LV BET list Apple Pay in their help centres (read on 31.10.2026). The availability of these options is more varied than for BLIK or cards; always verify the current list in the bookmaker’s cashier. Guides to the individual methods:

Deposit and withdrawal limits

Minimum and maximum transaction amounts differ between operators, between payment methods, and often also between a freshly verified account and one with a longer history. Some bookmakers raise withdrawal limits for regular customers. We do not give specific amounts here, because they change more often than could be kept up to date reliably. Always check the current limits in the “Cashier” or “Withdrawals” section directly with the operator, preferably before your first deposit, so you can match the amount to your own plans.

Fees and commissions

Each operator sets its own fee rules: Fuksiarz states that it charges no commissions or fees for keeping the account or for withdrawals, and Superbet lists a fee of PLN 0 for deposits (including BLIK, PayPal, Przelewy24, Tpay and card); we read all this information on 31.10.2026 (Fuksiarz help-centre article dated 14.05.2021, Superbet article dated 18.02.2020). Any fees may arise on a third party’s side: a bank may charge a currency-conversion fee for a foreign transaction, and an e-wallet provider its own service fee independent of the bookmaker. You will always find the exact price list (if there is one) in the payment terms of the particular operator, not in general overviews such as this one. Treat this section as a starting point for your own verification, not the final source.

Withdrawing winnings: what you need to know

A withdrawal differs from a deposit in one key respect: a legal bookmaker must verify your identity (KYC), and the moment of verification is set by its terms. This is the law: identity verification is imposed by the regulations (Art. 34 sec. 1 pt 1 and Art. 39 sec. 1 of the Anti-Money Laundering Act), and participation in betting by persons under 18 is prohibited (Art. 27 sec. 2 and Art. 15i sec. 1 pt 2 of the Gambling Act, Journal of Laws 2025, item 595), so the operator confirms that you are an adult and that you opened the account. Verification usually takes place by sending a scan of a document, and its time is set by the operator; check it in the terms or the help centre. Until KYC is completed, the operator may hold the withdrawal: it is a player-protection mechanism, not an obstacle.

What most often delays a withdrawal

  • Missing account verification (KYC): before the first withdrawal the operator may ask you to confirm your identity. Do it right after registration, do not wait for a win.
  • Unmet bonus wagering conditions: if you use a welcome bonus with a wagering requirement, the bonus funds are locked until it is met. If you want a bonus, compare the wagering requirements in the terms of each offer (check the current condition in the terms); more in the article on the welcome bonus.
  • Verification of large winnings: for a stake or winning equivalent to EUR 2,000 or more the operator applies financial security measures (Art. 35 sec. 1 pt 4 of the Anti-Money Laundering Act).
  • Wrong withdrawal account details: make sure that the bank account number (or other data required by the chosen method) matches the data in your profile.

If a withdrawal drags on anyway: check the account verification status, make sure the bonus conditions are met, and then contact the operator’s support. If an operator holding an MF licence does not respond or unjustifiably holds a withdrawal despite the conditions being met, you can report the matter to the Ministry of Finance, a route that does not exist with offshore offers. More about typical processing times: fast withdrawals at bookmakers (in Polish).

Deposit limits as a responsible-gambling tool

Beyond the technical limits of a payment method, legal bookmakers may also provide their own deposit limits set by the player (daily, weekly or monthly). It is a budget-control tool, not an obstacle: once set, the limit does not let you deposit more, whatever payment method you try. It is worth setting such a limit right after opening an account, before regular betting begins, and not only in response to a problem. We describe more tools of this kind, including time limits and self-exclusion, in detail on the responsible gambling page.

Tax and deposits and withdrawals

At a legal bookmaker the 12% gaming tax is settled by the operator, not by the player. You do not file a return for gaming tax. If a single win exceeds PLN 2,280, the bookmaker, as the withholding agent, deducts 10% income tax from that whole amount and pays it to the tax office (Art. 41 sec. 4 of the PIT Act, Journal of Laws 2026, item 592) before the withdrawal reaches your account. Only operators holding a Minister of Finance licence from our list of legal bookmakers work this way; at an illegal, offshore site no one will pay this tax for you, and the responsibility may fall on the player.

Frequently asked questions

What payment methods do legal bookmakers in Poland offer?

Operators list in their documents, among others, BLIK, Przelewy24, Tpay, PayPal, cards, paysafecard, Apple Pay and Google Pay (for example Superbet and LV BET; read on 31.10.2026), but the set of methods differs between bookmakers. You will always find the exact list in the cashier of the particular bookmaker from our list.

Do I have to go through verification before a withdrawal?

Yes. The operator must verify your identity (Art. 34 sec. 1 pt 1 and Art. 39 sec. 1 of the Anti-Money Laundering Act), and the moment of verification is set by its terms. It also protects your account against unauthorised access. Without KYC a withdrawal will not be processed, whichever method you choose.

Can I deposit with a bookmaker via PayPal?

It depends on the operator. In their help centres PayPal is mentioned by, among others, Superbet (deposits: minimum PLN 1, fee PLN 0), LV BET (deposits, minimum PLN 20; a 2022 page) and STS (withdrawals, Closed Loop rule), read on 31.10.2026; with the others, check the cashier. You can also use BLIK, Przelewy24, a payment card or paysafecard, depending on the bookmaker’s offer. Details: bookmaker with PayPal.

How quickly does a withdrawal from a bookmaker arrive?

Once KYC verification is complete, the withdrawal time depends on the operator and the method: for example, STS states about 10 minutes to accounts at the listed banks and PayPal, and Superbet states about 15 minutes on average after approval for Przelewy24 withdrawals (help-centre article dated 30.03.2021; read on 31.10.2026), while the time of a withdrawal to a card or an ordinary transfer depends on the operator and the bank. Always check the current time in the terms or the cashier of the particular operator. Overview: fast withdrawals at bookmakers (in Polish).

Are there amount limits for deposits and withdrawals at a bookmaker?

Yes, each operator sets its own minimum and maximum amounts for the individual payment methods, and withdrawal limits are sometimes higher for accounts with a longer history. Specific amounts change often enough that we do not give them here; check the current limits in the “Cashier” section at your chosen bookmaker before your first deposit.

Does a legal bookmaker charge a commission on deposits or withdrawals?

It depends on the operator: Fuksiarz states that it charges no commission on withdrawals, and Superbet lists a fee of PLN 0 for deposits (read on 31.10.2026). Any costs may arise from a bank’s policy (for example currency conversion) or an e-wallet provider, not from the bookmaker’s terms. Check the payment price list in the terms of the particular operator.
