Bookmaker with PayPal in Poland: Is It Possible? 2026
Introduction: why is PayPal still a talking point among players?
PayPal is one of the popular online payment methods, so players often look for a bookmaker that supports it. Whether a given operator accepts it is up to the operator: there is no single answer for the whole market. According to the operators’ own help centres (read on 31.10.2026), PayPal is mentioned by STS (withdrawals), Superbet (deposits) and LV BET (deposits); with the other bookmakers, check the cashier before registering. Below we set out what these sources say and show the alternatives, including BLIK.
What do the operators themselves say about PayPal?
Below is only information from the operators’ help centres, read on 31.10.2026; the rules may change, so confirm them in the cashier. STS (Help Centre, updated 16.07.2026): works with the 16 largest banks in Poland, Revolut and PayPal, and sends a withdrawal to PayPal if the money was previously deposited that way (the Closed Loop rule). Superbet (help centre, article dated 18.02.2020): PayPal is listed among the deposit methods, minimum deposit PLN 1, no limit, fee PLN 0, processing time: instant. LV BET (help centre, page dated 28.10.2022): accepts deposits via PayPal, and the minimum deposit by this method is PLN 20; this page is older than the others, so check how current it is in the cashier.
How do you check whether a bookmaker supports PayPal?
We have no source that covers all operators, so apart from those named above we do not claim that PayPal is or is not available at a particular bookmaker. The surest way is to look at the cashier or the payments section of an operator from our list, and if in doubt, ask customer support. The range of payment methods and their rules may change.
Alternatives to PayPal: a comparison
If your chosen bookmaker does not support PayPal, you usually have other methods. The overview below describes them in general terms; availability, times, limits and fees are set by the operator, so check them in the cashier:
The overview is indicative: availability, processing times, limits and fees are set by the operator, and some of the data comes from help centres of different dates (read on 31.10.2026). Before depositing, check them in the cashier of the MF-licensed bookmaker you choose.
BLIK: a Polish alternative to PayPal
BLIK is a Polish mobile payment system in which you generate a code in your banking app. Its features:
- Simplicity: instead of card details, you just generate a code in your banking app and confirm the transaction; the time it takes for a deposit to be credited is set by the operator.
- Security: you do not give your card or account details, only a one-time code; you confirm the transaction in your banking app.
- Withdrawals: in the sources we read (Superbet, LV BET), BLIK appears as a deposit method, so check the withdrawal method in the operator’s cashier.
- Availability: BLIK is listed among the deposit methods by Superbet (help centre) and LV BET (help centre, 2022); read on 31.10.2026. For other operators we have no source we could read first-hand, so check the cashier.
BLIK is a payment linked to your bank’s app. The availability of BLIK and transaction limits depend on the operator and the bank; check them in the cashier before depositing.
Przelewy24 and cards: the classics that still work
Przelewy24 is pay-by-link: you authorise the transfer directly in your bank. The deposit and withdrawal times are set by the operator; for a withdrawal via Przelewy24, Superbet gives an average of about 15 minutes after approval (Superbet help centre, read on 31.10.2026). Check card support (Visa and Mastercard) and the terms of withdrawals to a card in the operator’s cashier; paying directly by card does not require an intermediary account, but the availability of the method depends on the bookmaker.
Apple Pay and Google Pay: modern convenience at your fingertips
Apple Pay and Google Pay let you pay with your smartphone without typing in card details by hand. They are listed among the deposit methods by LV BET (help centre, 2022: ApplePay, GooglePay) and Superbet (help centre: Apple Pay), read on 31.10.2026; for other operators and for withdrawals, check the cashier.
Beware of fake offers from bookmakers with PayPal
Websites advertising “bookmakers with PayPal” keep appearing online, especially in search engines and on forums. They may be operators without a Polish permit: you will not find them in the register we link to below. Using them is illegal in Poland (Art. 107 § 2 of the Fiscal Penal Code, k.k.s., consolidated text Journal of Laws 2025, item 633), and pursuing claims may be difficult. Always check the register of legal bookmakers at gov.pl/web/finanse/legalny-hazard. Confirm whether a specific operator supports PayPal in its cashier or help centre.
Changes in payment offers: how to stay up to date
Bookmakers’ payment offers change, and operators’ help pages are updated at different times (the LV BET page we use dates from 2022 and the Superbet ones from 2020 and 2021). That is why, before every deposit, check the current list of methods in the operator’s cashier and the withdrawal rules, including whether the withdrawal returns to the same method as the deposit (STS describes such a rule for PayPal).
Summary: play safely and legally
Whether PayPal is available depends on the operator: STS, Superbet and LV BET describe it in their help centres (read on 31.10.2026), and with the others you should check the cashier. If PayPal is not available, choose another method offered by a licensed bookmaker: BLIK, Przelewy24, a card or Apple Pay, depending on the offer. Do not use operators without a Polish licence that advertise this method. Remember that gambling is entertainment, not a way to make money. Play responsibly and only with bookmakers licensed by the Minister of Finance.
Frequently asked questions
Can I legally use PayPal to deposit with bookmakers from other countries?
No. You can legally bet only with a bookmaker that holds a Polish permit: you will find it in the register at gov.pl/web/finanse/legalny-hazard. A bet with an operator without this permit is illegal for the player too: Art. 107 § 2 k.k.s. provides a fine of up to 120 daily rates for taking part in a foreign gambling game on the territory of Poland. Whether an operator with a Polish licence supports PayPal is described by the operator itself (e.g. STS, Superbet, LV BET, read on 31.10.2026), so check it in that bookmaker’s cashier. Instead of looking for workarounds, use the methods available at licensed bookmakers.
Is BLIK safer than PayPal?
We have no source that compares the security of the two methods, so we do not decide the matter. BLIK requires you to confirm a one-time code in your bank’s app, while PayPal is an intermediary account; check the protection and complaints rules with the operator, with your bank and in the PayPal terms. The choice is usually decided by whether the method is available at your chosen bookmaker, which you can check in its cashier.
Can I withdraw my winnings via PayPal if the bookmaker offers only PayPal?
It depends on the operator. STS describes a withdrawal to PayPal only if the money was previously deposited that way (the Closed Loop rule; STS Help Centre, read on 31.10.2026). With the others, check the withdrawal terms in the cashier. We advise against using services without a Polish licence that advertise PayPal.
Is it legal to use a VPN to get around payment restrictions?
We do not recommend a VPN or any other workaround: the rules on payments and on the availability of services are set by the operator and the payment provider, so check their terms. If it concerns gambling with an operator without a Polish permit, taking part in such a game on the territory of Poland is punishable by a fine of up to 120 daily rates (Art. 107 § 2 k.k.s.). Use only the methods available at operators with a Polish permit.
Can the availability of PayPal at bookmakers change?
Yes, the rules are set by the operators and the payment providers, and help pages are updated at different times. We will update this page when we read new information; you can check the current position in the operator’s cashier.
Can a bookmaker offering PayPal in Poland be legal if it has a licence from another EU country?
Polish law requires a bookmaker to hold a licence from the Minister of Finance (Art. 6 sec. 3 and Art. 32 sec. 2 of the Gambling Act, Journal of Laws 2025, item 595). An operator with a licence from another EU country that does not have a Polish permit does not appear in the Polish register of legal bookmakers, and using it on the territory of Poland is illegal (Art. 107 § 2 k.k.s.). Even if it offers PayPal, it is risky. Always check the operator in the register at gov.pl/web/finanse/legalny-hazard.
