Privacy policy
This privacy policy explains what data we process when you use Bukmacher na Topie (bukmachernatopie.pl), on what legal basis, and what rights you have under the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679). The site is published as part of the Avenmark Media group and is purely informational — we cover only legal bookmakers licensed by Poland’s Ministry of Finance.
Who controls your data
The data controller for this site is the Bukmacher na Topie editorial team, published as part of Avenmark Media (avenmarkmedia.com). For any data-protection matter, contact us at [email protected].
What data we process
Depending on how you use the site, we process the following categories of data:
- Correspondence data — if you email [email protected], we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message. We use it solely to reply to you. The site has no contact form — all contact is by email.
- Technical and traffic data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and approximate location (country). This is collected automatically by our hosting/CDN provider (Cloudflare) and by analytics tools, mainly for security and traffic statistics.
- Analytics data (cookies) — Google Analytics 4 works in two modes. Without your consent (before you decide, and after you click Reject), your browser sends Google a measurement request without cookies and without storing any identifier on your device; like any connection to a server, it includes the page address, device and browser details and the IP address. With your consent given in the cookie banner, Google Analytics 4 also sets cookies (including _ga, _ga_*). Ahrefs Web Analytics and our own internal visit/affiliate-click counter (CapybaraForge) run only with your consent, to understand which content is read and how visitors navigate the site. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies (including _ga, _ga_*); our own counter stores an identifier only in browser sessionStorage, not a cookie, and it disappears when the tab is closed; Ahrefs sets nothing at all — no cookie, no browser storage. Ahrefs and our own counter do not load, and Google Analytics 4 sets no cookies, until you click “Accept”.
- Affiliate-link click data (only with your analytics consent) — when you click a marked link to a bookmaker, our click-measurement system (shared across the Avenmark Media portfolio) logs technical click data — the source page, a timestamp, IP address and user agent — to measure which content drives referrals and to detect abuse of the affiliate programme.
What we do not collect: payment card numbers or bank account details, bookmaker account login credentials, national ID numbers, or biometric data. Opening an account and depositing funds happens entirely on the licensed operator’s own site, under its own privacy policy — we never see that data.
Advertising and profiling
We do not run our own ad network, do not embed remarketing pixels (e.g. Meta Pixel), and do not build behavioural advertising profiles of individual visitors. Analytics data is used in aggregate, to understand which content is useful — not to track a specific person across the internet.
Legal basis for processing
We process data under: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (taking steps in response to your message), Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest — site security and abuse prevention) and, for cookies that require it, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by clicking “Cookies” in the bottom-left corner of the page; you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings).
Cookies
The site uses cookies and similar mechanisms: necessary for the site to function; one cookie that remembers your choice in the consent banner (bt_consent, valid for about 6 months — after that the banner asks again); technical cookies tied to measuring clicks on affiliate links (no identifying cookie); and — only with the consent you give in the banner — analytics: Google Analytics 4 (cookies _ga/_ga_*), Ahrefs Web Analytics (no cookie at all) and our own internal visit counter (a session identifier in sessionStorage, not a cookie). You can change or withdraw your analytics choice at any time by clicking “Cookies” in the bottom-left corner of the page; withdrawing stops further collection by Ahrefs and our counter and removes the Google Analytics cookies and our counter’s identifier; Google Analytics then receives only a measurement request without cookies. You can also manage cookies in your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them — this may limit some site features. We do not use cookies to build personalised advertising profiles and we do not sell cookie data to third parties. Without your consent, Google Analytics 4 receives only a measurement request without cookies (see Analytics data).
Who we share data with
Data may be processed by the providers we use to run the site: Google (Google Analytics 4), Ahrefs (traffic analytics) and Cloudflare (hosting/CDN and attack protection). Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area — in those cases, transfer relies on the safeguards provided for under the GDPR (such as those providers’ standard contractual clauses). We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Data security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we process against unauthorised access, loss or alteration — including an encrypted connection (HTTPS), protection at the CDN/hosting layer (Cloudflare), and restricting access to the contact inbox to the editorial team.
How long we keep data
We keep email correspondence for as long as needed to handle your message, plus a reasonable archival period. Analytics data is retained according to each provider’s own default retention settings (Google, Ahrefs) — see their respective privacy policies for details. Affiliate click data is kept only for statistics and fraud-prevention purposes, for no longer than necessary.
Links to external sites
The site links to licensed bookmakers and public institutions (e.g. hazard.mf.gov.pl). Once you leave bukmachernatopie.pl, the privacy policy of the destination site applies — we have no control over how it processes data, and we encourage you to review its policy before submitting any information.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- access your data and find out how we process it;
- rectification of data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- erasure (“the right to be forgotten”) where there is no ground for us to keep processing it;
- restriction of processing in specific situations (e.g. while you contest its accuracy);
- data portability, for data you provided to us, in a structured format;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected], describing which data your request concerns. We will respond and act on the request within one month, per Article 12(3) GDPR (in justified cases this can be extended by a further two months, in which case we will explain why).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Poland, that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO): uodo.gov.pl. We would appreciate the chance to resolve the issue directly first, which is usually faster.
Children
This site concerns sports betting and is intended solely for adults (18+). We do not target minors and do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example following changes in the law or in the tools we use. The current version is always available on this page.
Last updated: October 2026.
Do you sell my data to other companies?
No. We do not sell personal data. We only work with service providers (analytics, hosting) who process data on our behalf and strictly on our instructions.
How do I request deletion of my data?
Email [email protected] and ask us to delete your data. We will confirm your request and act on it within the timeframe set by the GDPR — up to one month from receipt.
What cookies does this site use?
Cookies necessary for the site to run, one cookie remembering your choice in the consent banner (bt_consent), and — only after you consent — analytics: Google Analytics 4 (cookies _ga, _ga_*), Ahrefs Web Analytics (no cookie) and our own internal counter (a session id in sessionStorage). You can withdraw consent with the “Cookies” button at the bottom of the page; you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Without consent, Google Analytics 4 receives only a measurement request without cookies.
